Program Overview

The Comcast Cooperative Educational Program (Co-op) immerses students into the daily operations of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. Designed for students whose curriculum allows for a cooperative learning track, the co-op becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units. Throughout the experience, there is opportunity for exposure to mentorship and professional development while having some fun along the way.

The DE&I Analytics and Reporting Co-op will support the planning, coordination, and management of various analytical and research projects as they relate to Comcast's diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and initiatives across our governance, workforce, procurement, programming, and community impact focus areas, and partner with analysts in other areas where the company is driving DE&I initiatives.

Co-op responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead analytics projects to bolster diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies, focusing on workforce, suppliers, TV programming, and community impact.

  • Conduct quarterly trend analyses of diversity metrics and outcomes.

  • Assist in the submission of diversity surveys to external publications.

  • Undertake strategic analytics projects to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Coordinate and manage research projects related to DE&I best practices.

  • Gain exposure to database management and Tableau dashboard development.

  • Learn and apply SQL coding and other analytics tools.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL and Tableau

  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Exceptional analytical and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with senior management

  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Interest in telecommunications, cable, and media industries

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Preferred Majors: Data Science, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), Technology Innovation Management, Computer Science, Computing and Security Technology

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track .

  • Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 23 , 2024 through March 28, 2025 .

  • Available to report in-person to the work location provided above.

    1. 0 minimum cumulative GPA preferred.

Salary:

Base Pay: $23.00
