Oracle Israel is looking for a Data Team Leader Technology Specialist to join our thriving technical community and growing business in Israel as part of the Defense Sector team (MOD). You will join work to bring the latest in disruptive cloud computing technologies accompanied by best of bread On-Prem solutions to our Defense Sector customers.

Our Defense Sector teams help customers build a deeper understanding of hyper-scale cloud technology and application architectures, On-Prem solutions to compliment them that allows modernization of application to allow Hybrid and multi-cloud deployment, and they have the consultative and leadership skills required to drive deliver successful outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • You will be responsible for providing specialist knowledge in Oracle technology (Cloud & On-Prem) to achieve customer success. This may include the facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations, demonstration and benchmarks, and provision of support throughout the customer life cycle.

  • Responsible for the development of short-, medium-, and long-term plans to achieve strategic Domain/Business objectives. Responsible from the lead generation, adoption and success of the domain you are representing.

  • You will help customers understand best practices around advanced solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to these solutions.

  • Conducting training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using Oracle Technology, guiding and providing support.

  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.

  • Leverage your influence, leadership skills, and unmatched enthusiasm to support sales leaders and highly motivated sales consultants in closing deals with customers.

  • Creative: Enjoy creating and delivering compelling presentations, product demos, sample solutions, and discussions to drive adoption of Oracle Technology.

  • No Fear: dynamic and creative, and willing to take on any challenge and make a big impact.

  • Strategic Thought Leader: You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

What You’ll Bring

  • Capable of understanding the customer data infrastructure and data needs.

  • +4 years’ experience as both infrastructure and Application Oracle DBA

  • Knowledge with Performance tuning, installations & configuration

  • Knowledge of Oracle capabilities such as RAC, Data Guard

  • Knowledge in Golden Gate & Kafka – advantage

  • Experience with various databases and data processing - advantage

  • Must be a reliable team player and individual contributor with strong sense of accountability.

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Customer focus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure in escalated situations

  • Fluent English and Hebrew

  • Security clearance or clearance potential is a must
