We are looking to add to our team with a Maintenance Worker who is self-motivated, driven, and ethical employee looking to join an evolving business focused on developing top talent in support of an even brighter future.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ability to support maintenance needs on various production equipment, including the use of power tools with an emphasis on problem-solving to troubleshoot.
• Own and recreate a preventative maintenance program to support best practices in manufacturing, including facilities maintenance and production equipment.
• Ability to use various tools and equipment and learn on-the-job, where applicable.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and using ladders to ascend to high-levels for maintenance and repairs with a safety-first mentality.
• Performs repairs that may include mechanical and/or electrical.
• Clean and assist with upkeep of the facilities.
• Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Supports the business needs through job flexibility, including the need to help with lawn and building maintenance, or working in other business specific roles to ensure production processes are completed.
• Collaborate with a team of workers during renovations and facility expansions
• Report to management regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• General passion for creative problem-solving
• Forklift training and experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, be able to stand for 8 hours, and can work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Valid Driver's License in PA
• Pass drug and alcohol tests
• Electrical experience

Ball Transfer pays competitive wages and benefits. However, pay is based on experience and we are willing to train the right candidates. The company offers UPMC health insurance (contributes 70% towards premium) after 60 days of employment, Dental and Life insurance after 90 days. Employees are eligible for a raise after completing their 90 days.
