McDonald's Area Supervisor in PENSACOLA, Florida

At O’Connor Family McDonalds our purpose is to “Serve Feel Good Moments for Everyone, Every time, Everywhere.” An Area Supervisor is responsible for running a profitable group of restaurants and for making sure each restaurant meets our

standards for excellence in the areas of Safety, Quality, Friendly and Fast. The Area Supervisor works with their General Managers and restaurant teams to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve the goals. They are responsible for empowering his/her teams to produce results with an emphasis on a “we care” culture. This means

hiring and developing their own management teams to ensure we have the right team to lead into the future. Also helping

the management teams set their own goals, following up on their progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their results. The Area Supervisor must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while handling all manner of issues that develop. They not only look for ways to make today better, but is also looking ahead to improve tomorrow and the days after.

This role is vital to the operations within the restaurant because you’ll:

· Lead the experience: Upholding our core standards of Safety, Quality, Friendly and Fast to develop and implement action plans which drive results within your patch of restaurants.

· Be results oriented: Oversee all operational needs of the restaurant to grow sales and profitability while meeting McDonalds standards of excellence

· Plan for success: Proactively lead and manage all People processes to ensure a healthy talent pipeline for the organization

· Be in the know: Stay up to date with changing procedures and standards in all aspects of the business and clearly communicate with your restaurant teams

· Take action first: Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald’s standards of excellence

· Inspire and Empower: Grow your restaurant teams by maintaining high level of standards to deliver an outstanding employee and guest experience within your restaurants

In this role you can expect to:

· Review restaurant results and adjusts plans as needed to achieve goals

· Conduct regular assessments to ensure proper procedures and policies are being followed at each restaurant. This includes but is not limited to reviewing people practices, safety procedures, food safety, cash audits, inventory,

and other operational elements of the restaurants.

· Lead with “People First” mindset

· Enable communication flow to ensure leaders are updated on pain points/success stories regarding staffing, performance and maintenance concerns

· Monitor employee satisfaction

· Regularly hold management meetings to set clear goals that include employee satisfaction/happiness and retention, maintenance issues and overall restaurant successes

· Communicate new directives and policies

To be a successful Area Supervisor, you’ll need:

· Experience managing people and teams

· Results driven and ability to communicate

· Great planning and project management skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Training and development skills

· Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

· Visible, engaged leadership style that empowers leadership and team members for continuous improvement.

· Highly motivated, self-directed and results driven

· McDonald’s operational experience

· Computer Skills – Outlook, Excel, and Word

· Attention to detail
