Summary

Systems & Applications Design is an interdisciplinary field of engineering that works with cross functional teams of other engineers, customers, supply chain and project leadership to ensure robust and high quality product development.

The Senior Lead Engineer, Systems/Applications designs, integrates, and manages complex systems over their life cycles. They are engineering leads engaged in issues such as requirements engineering, reliability, logistics, coordination of different teams, testing and evaluation, maintainability and many other disciplines necessary for successful system design, development, implementation, and ultimate decommission. Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design and simulations.

Detailed Description

Job Descriptions:

● Ensure that manufacture test processes’ strategy, flows, processes and requirements and plans are in place to

meet customer expectations

● Meet and exceed program management metrics for manufacture test development activities on every

project/program, be on schedule

● Enable Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve capability and efficiency within the manufacture test

strategy team

● Collaborate with cross functional teams ( Hardware, Software, Manufacturing ) to drive structural test coverage

and functional test coverage are meet expectations

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or similar field

● More than 6-8 years’ experience in manufacture test or related areas

● Backgrounds knowledge of manufacture test processes’ and requirements’ design and development.

● Backgrounds knowledge and understanding of the design process for systems and printed circuit boards,

subassemblies, or other related company products

● Interacts with customer for test strategy, negotiation and problem resolution skills.

● Ability to design tests, evaluate results and recommend solutions to improve the processes associated with

PCBA test manufacturing

● Ability to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems

● Understanding of circuits and electronics

● Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and coordinate multiple

● Experiences in test diagnostic coding is a plus with Shell script, Python scripts

● Backgrounds knowledge of Functional Test methodologies of Intel x86 architecture and Linux test environment.

● Backgrounds knowledge of Stress Test methodologies and modeling, such as Burn-In, Environmental Stress

Screening, Vibration, etc

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

  • Occasional travel may be required.

Typical Experience

  • 4 to 6 years in a similar role or industry.

Typical Education

Bachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
