Patchogue-Medford School District Guidance Counselor in Patchogue, New York
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be an active student advocate that encourages student voice.
Works with students on academic planning and goal setting.
Provides short term counseling: individual, group, and crisis intervention as needed.
Collaboration with teachers, administration, families, and outside resources.
Employs data driven decision making in order to provide proactive remediation and intervention.
Works to improve equity, access, achievement, and opportunities for all students.
Job Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess or be eligible for New York State School Guidance Counselor Certification
