Marketing Coordinator

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a leader in the security industry, is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our marketing and communications team. Position Summary: As the Marketing Coordinator, you will report to the Marketing Manager and play a key role in executing and supporting our marketing initiatives. Your primary focus will be on content marketing, social media management, and event coordination. In this dynamic position, you will create compelling content, plan, and schedule social media posts, and coordinate events that align with our brand and business objectives. The role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and a passion for effective communication.

BENEFITS :

Securitas will offer a starting salary of $60K - $70K, depending on experience, plus a full benefits package that includes:

Key Responsibilities :

Content Marketing: Develop and write engaging marketing content for various channels, including blogs, Sales enablement materials, newsletters, and website updates.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with overall marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Optimize content for SEO and analyze performance metrics to inform future content creation.

Social Media Management: Plan, write, and schedule social media posts across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.

  • Monitor and analyze social media performance, adjusting strategies to enhance effectiveness.

  • Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages to foster community interaction.

Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating events, including trade shows, webinars, and promotional events.

  • Handle logistical arrangements such as venue booking, vendor communications, and travel arrangements.

  • Develop event marketing materials and manage event-related communications.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure marketing efforts align with business objectives.

  • Assist in managing marketing projects and tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

Administrative Support: Maintain marketing calendars and documentation, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and organized.

  • Prepare marketing reports and presentations to support decision-making and demonstrate marketing performance.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • 2-3 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, and social media management, preferably in the technology industry or related fields.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell stories that bring Securitas mission and brand voice to life.

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite, Asana, HubSpot, and social channels.

  • Strong organizational skills, with a track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and with external partners.

  • Flexibility to travel (approximately 25% travel requirement).

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Work Environment :

  • This is a remote position, with a candidates located near our Parsippany office to commute to office several times a month.

  • The role reports directly to the Marketing Manager and involves close collaboration with various members of the marketing team.
