Description We are on the hunt for a Customer Service Representative to join our team based in Parsipanny, New Jersey. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity within the banking industry. The successful candidate will be handling a variety of tasks ranging from processing transactions to answering inbound calls, and will be required to have a strong proficiency in data processing.

Responsibilities:

• Processing banking transactions and handling cash for customers.

• Answering inbound calls and providing top-tier assistance to customers.

• Utilizing various software and systems for data processing, including MS Office.

• Managing customer interactions both in-person and over the phone, requiring excellent communication skills.

• Balancing multiple tasks and priorities, including customer interactions, data processing, and other assigned duties.

• Demonstrating proficiency in using spreadsheets for data processing.

• Printing daily reports and working on projects during downtime.

• Managing high workflow times, such as early mornings or mid-afternoons.

• Learning and adapting to new tasks and responsibilities with willingness and patience.

• Representing the company as the initial point of contact for customers, showcasing professionalism and a customer-first attitude. Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in handling inbound telephone calls is a must.

• Skillset should include an ability to operate printing equipment.

• Strong customer service skills are required.

• Applicant should be proficient in using MS Office tools.

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

• Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes or systems is required.

• Must have strong organizational skills.

• Flexibility to work in different shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; higher education is a plus.

• Knowledge of basic computer applications and internet is mandatory.
