West Virginia Employer Custodian (Afternoon and Evening Shifts) - Parkersburg in Parkersburg, West Virginia
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a High school diploma or equivalent. Previous custodial experience required. Must have reliable transportation. Position requires regular standing and walking as well as frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds. Judgment must be used if items weigh over 25 pounds. JOB DESCRIPTION: Keeps premises of office building, apartment house, or other commercial or institutional building in clean and orderly condition. Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Sweep and scrub floors, clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dust, wash windows, door panels, and sills. Empty trash. Replenish bathroom supplies and clean all sinks, commodes, and mirrors. Sweep and pick up trash on the parking lot and entrances or as specified by contract. Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies. Other duties as assigned. Work may be at varying locations. Part-time position. Afternoon and evening shifts available.
