Boehringer Ingelheim Regional Affairs Manager - Sicily in Palermo, Italy

THE POSITION

Regional Affairs Manager is a manager within the Regional Access function of Market Access, who ensures optimal access and adoption of Boehringer's products at the regional and individual account levels, communicating their value and economic sustainability to the healthcare system. Through its ability to read the scenario, it intercepts the changes and evolution of regional health systems transmitting them to cross-functional teams and building integrated plans to maximize opportunities and minimize risks.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by ensuring patient access to BI products for all therapeutic areas, through the unblocking of regional and local barriers, ensuring the presence of products in distribution channels and seeking to mitigate the cost containment measures applicable at regional level

  • Promote, develop and maintain an effective partnership with regional and local SH decision-makers and process influencers (Regional Officials, DGs and DS of ASL and Account, Regional Commissions, Pharmacists, Department Directors, Scientific Societies)

  • Analyze the scenario and evolution of regional health services and their impact on Boehringer's core business therapeutic areas, seizing opportunities and critical issues and implementing specific cross-functional POAs

  • Develop Regional Account Plans through the analysis and monitoring of regional health systems, define strategic objectives to be achieved and the delineate specific cross-functional action plans to be implemented for the company's business

  • Develop Regional Account Plans through the analysis and monitoring of regional health systems, the definition of strategic objectives to be achieved for the business and the definition of the related cross-functional action plans to be implemented in the areas of competence

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Scientific field, Economics or Management

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical Company with a similar position, as well as a good knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing, National/Regional Healthcare System and regulatory processes

  • Fluent Italian and English

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (in particular Excel)

  • Strong analytic, digital and communication skills

  • Excellent relationship skills and aptitude for cross-transversal and matrix work
