Job Description

As a Powder Coat Painter, you will be tasked with a variety of duties including hanging sheet metal onto a paint line, inspecting painted items for imperfections, and applying protective foam strips. This role also involves heavy lifting, grinding metal for preparation or finishing, and assembling small parts such as glass and door handles onto sheet metal. The position requires dedication to ensure high-quality finishes on all powder-coated sheet metal and machine parts.

This is a fully on-site position in Oxnard, California.

Work Environment

The work setting is a bustling sheet metal manufacturing shop, characterized by high noise levels and elevated temperatures, especially near the paint line and welding areas. The facility features one of the largest paint lines on the west coast and is equipped with various sheet metal manufacturing machines. There is also frequent vehicle activity throughout the facility.
