St. John's Regional Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join our team as a Food Bank Coordinator . This position plays a vital role in ensuring that our local community have access to nutritious food during their time of need.

Responsibilities
Work closely with management with daily operations of the food bank, including inventory management, ordering, receiving, and storage of food donations.
Build and maintain relationships with local food banks, community organizations, and individual donors to secure regular food donations.
Track food donations, distribution, and program utilization to ensure efficient operations and program effectiveness.
Develop and implement outreach strategies to raise awareness of the food bank within the hospital and the community.
Ensure the food bank is clean, organized, and adheres to all safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in health service provider or community-based health organization
AA degree in health related area preferred, or comparable experience in lieu of degree will be accepted
CA Driver License - DRV LIC
Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more
ServSafe Certification required. ( 90 days to obtain from start date)
Fluent in Spanish/English
Pay Range
$23.00 - $31.38 /hour
