University of Mississippi Instructional Asst Professor of Exercise Science in Oxford, Mississippi

This Position is for an Instructional Assistant Professor of Exercise Science with a public university work location in University, MS.

Position Description

The Department of Health, Exercise Science and Recreation Management (HESRM) at the University of Mississippi is seeking applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track position as Instructional Assistant Professor of Exercise Science. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Exercise Science or closely related field. The position may begin as early as August 2024.

The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate-level exercise science courses (e.g. Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Foundations of Health and Human Performance, Testing and Prescription, Clinical Testing and Prescription, experiential learning/internship hours, etc.). Other duties may include assisting with student recruitment, retention, and graduation. Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Exercise Science or closely related field. The position may begin as early as August 2024.
