We are seeking a full-time shift supervisor who will be directly in charge and responsible for all Operators and security related situations as they arise on the shift when the Site Manager is unavailable. Act as security's representative in absence of the Site Supervisor in non-emergency situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• First point of contact for all technical system issues across the country.

• Responsible for all security equipment malfunction (troubleshooting and system updates).

• Responsible for opening all Tech reports and gathering up all the proper information regarding the system malfunction, including accurate times (guard and tech call outs).

• Responsible for contacting the proper vendors and making the service calls as required.

• Actively maintains and monitors the tech reports daily. Updates reports accordingly.

• Follow up calls for open tech reports with the vendors and local site contacts for updates.

• Interfaces with the client, service providers, local authorities, and others as necessary for the swift and efficient conclusion of all shift problems or emergencies.

• Adjust the assignments of security officers on volume requirements, ensure their attendance, and assign replacements when required.

• Responsible for overseeing spare cards/OneCard creation and access changes while on shift.

• Conduct all investigations and review CCTV footage when required.

• Ensure full and continuing understanding and compliance with all orders, policies, and procedures.

• Actively monitor and respond 24/7 in accordance with the new procedures.

• Act as the Lead person on site when the Site Manager is absent in addition to assigned guard responsibilities.

• Other duties as assigned by Site Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be Bilingual (English and French).

• Must be available to work a rotating schedule including evenings, nights, and weekends (24/7 Operations).

• Have a valid Ontario Security Guard License.

• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.

• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.

• Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments.

• Understanding of a variety of security and safety devices and controls.

• Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
