Contracts Administrator

We have an opportunity for a Contracts Administrator in Ottawa, ON!

Curtiss-Wright’s Contracts team is responsible for providing contractual, negotiation and commercial business guidance to business unit leaders, sales and marketing staff, program managers and others to ensure the commercial interests of the company are served and protected in dealings with third parties.

As our Contracts Administrator, you will be tasked with supporting the Contracts team and all business units within the Defense Solutions division on various functions as described herein.

Your Challenge:

  • Under supervision, formulate, negotiate and manage Non-Disclosure and Bailment Agreements, which establish business relationships with customers and/or partners.

  • Ensure various agreements comply with company policy, government and contract specifications and requirements, and conformance to master agreements.

  • Provide restricted or denied party screening for new companies doing business with Curtiss-Wright.

  • Complete and maintain certification and representations packages as requested by customers.

  • Maintain Contracts SharePoint site for all agreement types on behalf of Senior Contracts staff.

  • Participate in periodic data integrity audits for the various systems used within the group.

  • Provide administrative support on the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.

  • Assist senior contracts staff with implementing policy/procedure initiatives

  • Complete various special projects which will be assigned and supervised by Contracts Management

What You Bring:

  • Strong communication and organization skills.

  • Knowledge and practice of principle-based negotiations

  • Diversified team player with a strong customer orientation

  • Experience interacting effectively with members of a complex organization at multiple levels

  • A High School diploma or equivalent with a preferred associate’s degree in a related field.

  • 4-6 years of related work experience, preferably within the Aerospace/Military Environment or technology design and manufacturing field

  • Knowledge Canadian Controlled Goods Program or applicable security procedures and regulations would all be assets for this role.

  • Organized, detailed oriented individual with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks on an ongoing basis.
