Community Wellness Partners Assistant Controller in Oswego, New York
Position Scope:Assists the Chief Financial Officer and Controller in the coordination of the accounting, reporting, budgeting, purchasing, and data processing procedures for Community Wellness Partners and St. Luke campuses.
Qualifications/Education/Experience: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related degree from an accredited school.
Experience:
Three to five years experience in a financial and accounting field.
Three to five years experience in a supervisory or management position.
A minimum of three years experience in cash management and investments and security transactions.
Experience with governmental regulatory agencies required.
Experience with computers and spreadsheet applications required.
Main Position Function:
Assists in the supervision of preparing monthly financial statements for Community Wellness Partners and St. Luke campuses by the staff accounting personnel.
Cost reporting
Provides oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Assists Chief Financial Officer and Controller with all third party payor audits
Makes recommendations to the Chief Financial Officer and Controller concerning maximizing revenues and reducing operational costs
Manages Finance team of employees at St. Luke, Oswego NY location
Other job duties as assigned by CFO and Controller
