Eaton Corporation Finance Manager in Oslo, Norway

What you’ll do:

Eaton is searching for candidates for the role of Finance Manager of NordicEPOD (https://www.nordicepod.com/what-we-do) . Eaton recently signed an agreement to acquire a minority stake in NordicEPOD (https://www.eaton.com/us/en-us/company/news-insights/news-releases/2024/eaton-expands-reach-into-european-data-center-market-by-making-s.html) , a formerly wholly owned subsidiary of CTS Nordics, which designs and assembles standardized power modules for data centers in the Nordic region. As Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing the finance function at the NordicEPOD manufacturing and assembly site in Norway. You will provide leadership, direction and management of the finance planning and accounting team for the business. As part of your role you will provide strategic guidance, unlocks opportunities to improve the business, drive improvements across all finance processes in respect to quality, efficiency, cost and compliance. The successful candidate will be employed by NordicEPOD. Further tasks aligned to this role:

  • Responsible for setting, reviewing, and executing the business strategy.

  • Optimizes margins by reviewing portfolio and seeking/pulling levers with operational teams to improve. Sets long-term objectives to address margin risk.

  • Provides forecast &strategic guidance to the organization to support and drive delivering short and long-term targets.

  • Is responsible for the all the RTR/OTC/P2P processes.

  • Drives continuous improvement into the finance processes, systems, organization, and business efficiency.

  • Contributes to the commercial process by supporting deals, leads and commercial strategy.

  • Manages cashflow and drives free cashflow performance/improvements through managing working capital and capex.

  • Ensures business & processes follow the local laws, also ensures statutory / regulatory filings and returns are submitted on time.

  • Supports internal and external audits. Drive actions coming out from audit findings.

  • Manages quarterly reviews with board members.

  • Handles Holding Company.

  • Understands and knows how to navigate through matrix environment, can manage through influencing.

Qualifications:

  • Higher education with bachelor’s or master’s degree, qualification such as ACCA / CMA / ACA are advantage.

  • Extensive experience of corporate financial management.

  • Experience in project/assembly production environment with multi-country operations.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of experience with US GAAP and Norwegian GAAP reporting guidelines and internal controls framework.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with SAP, Oracle and other finance IT systems including planning & data warehouse tools.

  • Track record of implementing IT solutions across finance processes.

  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to lead diverse, matrixed, virtual teams and influencing key decision makers.

  • Fluency in English required, Norwegian or Swedish languages are preferred.

  • Adaptable to varying cultures.
