Lockheed Martin JASSM Systems and Software Program Manager in Orlando, Florida

Description:

You will be the JASSM Systems and Software Program Manager for the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) Program. The Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) Program is expanding to respond to increased USG and International customer demand for rapid insertion of advanced capabilities, increased production quantities of missiles, and expansion of platform integration efforts. JASSM is a combat-proven, long-range, conventional, air-to-ground, precision standoff missile, designed to destroy high-value, well-defended, fixed and relocatable targets. With sales exceeding $1B per year to support increased capability and production capacity, our program management team is expanding.

What You Will Be Doing

The JASSM Development Program Management Team is comprised of program managers organized with leadership roles that are specific to assigned contract scope yet flexible to meet your career development goals. The Development Program Management Teams scope includes: Development of the next generation JASSM variants (including the AGM-158B-3, AGM-158D, and the AGM-158 XR), annual software contracts to upgrade capabilities of missiles in inventory, and mission planning contracts to produce software for the Air Force to employ the JASSM.

This position as a JASSM Development Program Manager is responsible the JASSM software and capability contracts. Job responsibilities include:

• Lead the execution of the JASSM software roadmap, aligning with the hardware configuration programs to add capability to the JASSM cruise missile franchise.

• Lead the execution of the JASSM mission planning contracts.

• Coordinate with JASSM and Government program leads and managers to ensure seamless integration of software and mission planning to successfully qualify each JASSM variant in development.

• Identify barriers and risks to the software development and execute plans around corresponding opportunities or risk mitigations. Includes leading the strategy for Agile software development, Weapon Open System Architecture, and integration into an Integrated Data Environment.

• Capture new business through collaboration with Customer to develop RFP, proposal preparation and negotiations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance as well as a Special Access Program clearance.

• Leadership of cross-functional team with scope >$10M, with responsibility for quality/technical, schedule and cost performance

• Experience in risk identification and management

• Experience with Proposal Process (proposal prep, EPP, negotiations)

• Demonstrated problem solving skills; Quick learner

• Proven ability to work multiple, high-priority tasks in parallel with minimal direction

• Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written), demonstrated executive presence

• Experience establishing strong customer relationships

• Experience working with suppliers and subcontract management

• Ability to travel up to 15%

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Agile Software Development

• Experience with missile systems & sub-systems

• Experience with Development Programs

• Knowledge of program and financial measurements (orders, sales, EBIT and cash)

• Knowledge of DoD contract types (CPFF, FFP, CPIF, etc.)

• Demonstrated track record of delivering results in fluid or ambiguous situations

• Experience leading subordinate leaders and developing talent (i.e. IPT leads)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
