Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a role in Orange, Connecticut. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems by coordinating equipment, tracking inventory, and managing PC technicians. Given the nature of the role, there may be a requirement to travel to local offices on occasion. The position is within a Microsoft Windows work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the deployment and configuration of computer hardware.

• Utilizing your experience as a Hardware Analyst to improve system performance and reliability.

• Tracking and managing IT assets to ensure accurate inventory.

• Imaging PCs, using specific technologies, to prepare them for use.

• Procuring orders from vendors to maintain adequate hardware supplies.

• Managing PC Technicians, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Traveling to local offices as required to support hardware needs.

• Operating within a Windows/Microsoft environment, utilizing your skills to troubleshoot and fix issues.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of two years' experience in a similar Hardware Analyst role.

• Demonstrable proficiency in Computer Hardware and Configuration Management.

• Experience in Deployments and IT asset management is essential.

• Knowledge and experience in Computer Imaging and Desktop Imaging.

• Familiarity with Imaging Technologies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
