Salary: $18.13 - $19.31

In this position, you'll coordinate training for our residential staff, provide mentorship and coaching, and assist with staff scheduling. Work Location: Ontario County Schedule: M-F 8:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Serves as coordinator of training for Residential staff. Receives information regarding training planned by individual programs, special offerings, training days or others. Arranges training sessions one on one or with a group of staff to review the coaching plan, make observations of the staff while on duty, and assist to mentor and have staff demonstrate skills on shifts.

  • Mentors and coaches staff on understanding all aspects of agency-wide staff training

  • Maintains certifications and standards in the following: American Heart Association First Aid/CPR, Positive Approaches, Lift training, wheelchair securement, basic level of care, All Staff are Teachers. Attends in-service training session, staff or other meetings as requested.

    Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and five years of applicable experience or an equivalent amount of education/experience.

  • Valid NYS Driver's License with no moving violations twelve (12) months prior to hire.

  • Will be required to obtain and maintain Agency Driver Certification. Must be 21 years of age to meet these requirements.

  • Broad knowledge of agency and residential programs and functioning.
