This professional can build, recommend and reinforce master data governance strategies and knows how to break down and redesign processes.

You Will:

  • Support and execute both operational and strategic projects in support of the Data Management Organization’s strategic objectives

  • Has previous experience or strong understanding of the Agile Methodology and ways of working.

  • Participate in strategy discussions and other business unit discussions to understand and capture high level business needs

  • Identify holistic and automated approaches to data promoting technology solutions

  • Adapt governance processes, procedures, and tools to varying situations, while also challenging existing governance processes to facilitate a higher degree of effectiveness

  • Drive and execute, while sometimes overseeing, the functional and technical design of a product and ensure agile teams adhere to agreed upon standards.

  • Reviews project requirements, functional specifications and detailed designs of application solutions

  • Work closely with large cross-functional teams to size and prioritize bodies of work, while keeping both the organizational objectives and end user experience top of mind

  • Develop solutions to improve and transform data governance processes

  • Oversees and provides guidance to Outsourcer for application administration, development, configuration and continuous improvement opportunities

  • Aware of existing architectural standards and able to validate through proof of concepts

  • Ensure standards and patterns are being implemented by agile teams to promote collaboration.

  • Deploy and support tools to manage organizational data, allowing the business to move quickly while adhering to data standards

  • Identify opportunities to expand Data Management services to new areas of the business

  • Study and interpret understanding of problems and opportunities

  • Monitor reporting; build recommendations that promote action / resolution

  • Maintain keen external focus on industry best practices and advanced technologies related to data management and governance

  • Recommend and implement process improvements

  • Resolve conflict and act as escalation contact for partners

  • Provide high reliability of governance applications through disciplined testing and change management

  • Use tools and techniques to assess the effectiveness of data quality measures and identify potential inaccuracies

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years related business experience

  • Experience working in a project environment and prioritizing multiple activities simultaneously

  • Experience leveraging technology to solve business problems

  • Experience with SQL, ADLS, or Snowflake (preferred)

  • Experience with Enterworks (preferred)

  • At this time, we require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future

  • Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in our Omaha office: Tues, Weds & Thurs weekly.
