Position Overview

As a Welder, you will be integral to the fabrication and repair of food manufacturing equipment. Collaborate with skilled technicians and engineers to deliver high-quality machinery that meets our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, including stainless steel and aluminum.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

  • Fabricate and assemble components for food manufacturing equipment.

  • Inspect and test welds for quality and compliance.

  • Repair existing equipment, addressing defects as necessary.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.

  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot welding-related challenges.

  • Document work performed and maintain accurate project records.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-5 years experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.

  • Proficient in MIG and TIG welding processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices.

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
