Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer in a dynamic precast concrete production environment. You will participate in various stages of creating concrete slabs primarily used for commercial buildings. Your responsibilities will include moving rebar, setting forms, pouring concrete, and potentially training as a carpenter to build and set concrete forms. Expect a physical role, involving consistent lifting and operating in a fast-paced setting. Your first day will begin at 7:00 AM for a safety walkthrough, with subsequent days starting at 6:00 AM.

  • Tying reinforcing bars

  • Tying steel

  • Setting inserts

  • Stripping forms

  • Cleaning up

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

  • Capability to follow safety procedures

  • Adaptability to indoor and outdoor work conditions

Environment

The position splits time between indoors and outdoors. Indoor tasks involve setting forms and pouring concrete in a manufacturing facility. Outdoor tasks involve moving and shipping concrete slabs. Expect to get dirty during a full day of work.
