Aerotek Carpenter Helper in Omaha, Nebraska

Carpenter Helper/General Laborer - $27/hr - Start ASAP

Job Description

As a Carpenter Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our carpentry team by assisting in various stages of form building for precast concrete products. This position involves collaborating with carpenters to perform all activities related to fabrication and setup of forms, as well as undertaking miscellaneous carpentry tasks as needed. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials according to specifications, carrying out general labor duties, operating power tools under supervision, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 90 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Omaha, Nebraska.

Work Environment

This role is based in an indoor environment, which can be cold in winter and hot in summer. You will be part of a team of 5-8 people. Safety gear required includes steel-toed boots, hard-hat, high visibility shirt, and long work pants. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6AM to 5PM, with the potential for up to 10 hours of overtime per week.
