Continental Resources Division Order Analyst II in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Job Summary
The Division Order Analyst II is an intermediate-level position responsible for performing clerical, data entry, and research duties for the Division Order Department related to the correct and prompt establishment and maintenance of record title ownership to Continental Resources’ producing properties. This position is responsible for the daily work and performance of all routine division order responsibilities. The Division Order Analyst II will address and seek resolution of division order-related issues of increasing complexity. This position will provide assistance to senior-level analysts for an assigned geographical area. This position requires a highly motivated individual, capable of successfully achieving positive results.
Duties and Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains divisions of interest for revenue distribution and joint interest billing
Initiates pay code changes and ownership transfers of intermediate complexity within SAP
Assists senior-level division order analysts as needed
Researches and responds to phone calls, emails, and written inquiries from interest owners in a timely manner
Prepares Division Orders and Transfer Orders accurately and promptly as needed
Creates division order files and file documentation
Works closely internally with all land disciplines, Revenue Accounting, JIB Accounting, Legal, Marketing, and Reserves, and externally with contract landmen, brokers, title attorneys, WI partners, and revenue interest owners to achieve company goals
Promotes, cultivates, and maintains good professional relationships with colleagues and external interest owners
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Competencies
Creating record title ownership of producing properties in a specific geographic area through detailed analysis of title opinions, leases, assignments, deeds, probates, farm-out agreements, operating agreements, and other legal documents
Determining ownership through laws of descent and distribution/intestate succession

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
Intermediate level knowledge of land concepts and division order responsibilities
An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Law or Business
Three (3) years of experience with an active oil and gas exploration company
Certified Division Order Analyst
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping
Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator
