The Oklahoma City C-17 team is currently looking for an Associate Design and Analysis Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma city, OK . This organization supports the development, testing, and qualification of avionics software for the C-17 platform.

Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Designs hardware, software and interface specifications. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements

• Designs hardware, software and interface specifications

• Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements

• Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements

• Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle

• Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

• Proficient with test report generation

• 2+ years of experience with software design, development, debugging, and performing software integration and test

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with industry tools such as DOORS, clearcase, or GIT

• Experience programming with C#,C++, ADA, Python

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $73,950 – $100,050
