Citigroup Correspondent Community Lending Program Manager - O'Fallon - Hybrid in O'Fallon, Missouri

The Correspondent Community Lending Program Manager is accountable for the strategic design, execution and performance tracking initiatives advancing Citi Correspondent’s Community Lending Program. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within Correspondent Lending and Community Lending, and how they interact in order to achieve critical objectives within Lending and the US Personal Bank. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Strong mortgage industry awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of Community Lending products and executions to an established, robust set of approved Correspondent Sellers. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. An established network of contacts, including community based organizations is also necessary for the position. Accountable for the end results of Correspondent Community Lending. Involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance the strategy to optimize Correspondent Lending as a delivery tool for Community based originations.

  • Responsible for meeting the Community Lending goals for the Correspondent Channel.

  • Responsible for meeting the CRA execution goals for the Correspondent Channel.

  • Increase sales Account Executive CRA acquisition productivity through refinement of the multiproduct platform.

  • Support efforts to refine and improve the risk policies for a specific to Community Lending.

  • Represent the Correspondent Channel on a regular cadence to provide updates on tactical initiatives and key performance indicators to Sr. Management including Executive Management within the US Personal Bank.

  • Partner with key stakeholders to optimize processing costs.

  • Support the expense management discipline to generate sales at agreed levels for all products.

  • Develop and lead relationships with stakeholders to drive partnerships and deployment opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance and consistency with Citigroup’s Compliance & Control policy and local regulatory guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance in all internal and external dealings with customers, partners and regulators.

  • Ensure key metrics are met.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years related product sales experience within Mortgage, including a proven record within Third Party originations.

  • 5+ years of experience working within Affordable, Community Lending Product Lines

  • Demonstration of clear communication skills with a high level of Executive Presence.

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

$145,840.00 - $218,760.00
