Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Positions parts and subassemblies by following assembly instructions and drawings.
Assembly components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed conveyor sections.
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance procedures, rules and regulations.
Shift
1st Shift 6:30AM-3:00PM Monday-Friday (overtime as needed during the week, no weekends)
Pay
Starting wage of $19-20/hour for assembly position with great upward mobility. Climate controlled shop.
Hard Skills
Ability to retain information with regard to standard assembly/disassembly procedures
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret a tape measure
Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery and pneumatic operated tools
