JOB REQUIREMENTS: Join us to be a part of an excellent customer experience! Collaborate with cell members to own the process of a focused list of parts. Responsible for streamlining these orders to improve both the employee and customer experiences. Provide personalized, easy, and consistent experiences every time with every customer! ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide quotes for express lane parts. Respond professionally to customer telephone calls and emails. Monitor Order Desk and enter orders promptly and accurately. Set up and edit customer master data as needed. Retrieve and send customer documents (MTRs, COC, CRN, etc.). Prepare documentation as required for letters of credit, proforma invoices, cash against documents, cash in advance, etc. Prepare all commercial documents for international shipments with an understanding of export compliance rules and regulations. Proactively monitor open orders and communicate with customers and reps regarding status, expedite requests, delays, etc. Process RMAs for discrepancies such as wrong part, wrong quantity etc. (Support to facilitate RMAs for inspections and repairs.) Create and maintain procedures and guidelines for all cell processes and tasks. Identify and implement continuous improvement activities to reduce cost, improve quality and on-time delivery. Collaborate with Production Planners and Purchasing Buyer/Planners to explore opportunities to improve deliveries when possible. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years college or technical school preferred. Experience: Minimum 3 years office experience, preferably in technical sales or customer service of a manufacturing company. Skills, Knowledge & Other: Positive attitude, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with customers (internal/external). Excellent communication skills, written and oral, telephone and customer service. Ability to work with a variety of people, including those of other cultures. Knowledge of quality systems, lean techniques, quick response manufacturing, and an ISO environment. Knowledge of exporting regulations and procedures. Pleasant telephone demeanor, voice and manner. Critical thinking skills. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP and CRM programs. Good mathematical skills; excellent spelling, grammar and writing skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to establish priorities, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
