Our client, situated in the Monmouth County, New Jersey, is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. This role will involve various tasks related to accounts payable, including processing check requests, vendor invoices, and expense reports, maintaining vendor accounts, and performing data entry as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Regularly process check requests and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Review, code, and process vendor invoices in a timely manner

• Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate

• Maintain a large number of vendor accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

• Perform data entry associated with accounts payable, ensuring all information is accurately logged

• Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies, identifying and resolving any issues

• Audit and process credit card bills, ensuring all charges are accounted for and accurate

• Address and respond to vendor inquiries, providing high-quality customer service

• Handle customer invoices and invoice processing, maintaining accurate records at all times.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to process vendor invoices efficiently

• Familiarity with invoice processing and handling invoice discrepancies

• Proficient in data entry tasks

• Ability to process check requests

• Experience in processing credit card payments

• Knowledge of coding invoices

• Experienced in handling customer invoices and supplier invoices

• Ability to handle data entry tasks efficiently

• Experience in resolving discrepancies in vendor invoices.
