We are in the process of hiring an Accounting Manager/Supervisor for our team located in St.Paul, Minnesota. The individual will be primarily responsible for leading the daily operations of our Corporate Accounting team, managing month-end close processes, and developing the talent of the existing team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operations of the Corporate Accounting team and maintain the general ledger.

• Identify solutions and develop accounting practices for new transactions and challenges.

• Manage the Month-end Close process with the goal to decrease the time required to close.

• Prepare Timely & Accurate Financial Statements in accordance with US GAAP.

• Regularly review Balance Sheet Reconciliations and explain key drivers of changes.

• Develop the talent of the existing team via coaching and trainings.

• Support the annual budget, audit, and tax returns.

• Utilize skills in Auditing, Month-end Close Activities, Financial Statement Preparation, Financial Statement Audits, Technical Accounting, Sales Tax, and Process Improvement

Requirements • Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.

• Proficient knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.

• Proven skills in auditing and financial statement audits.

• Experience in handling month-end close activities.

• Expertise in preparing financial statements.

• Technical accounting skills.

• Familiarity with sales tax regulations and reporting.

• Proven ability to contribute towards process improvement.

• Proficient with accounting software and other business-related software.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high tech engineering environment.

• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

• CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
