Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in OAK BROOK, Illinois for a Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is within the finance industry and includes tasks such as maintaining various ledgers, registers, and fiscal reports, as well as executing and overseeing multiple accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and creation of various ledgers, registers, and subsidiary accounting records

• Guiding and monitoring the production of varied fiscal reports

• Conducting reviews and preparation of financial statements

• Identification and reporting of issues affecting cash flow, balance sheets, and expenses

• Overseeing and executing a range of accounting functions including maintaining the general ledger, month-end close and year-end close

• Examination of financial records, collection of information, and preparation of reports

• Handling accounts payable and receivable, and journal entries

• Involvement in special projects and reporting as needed. Requirements • Candidate must possess strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is required

• Must be adept at managing and maintaining the General Ledger

• Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries is essential

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is necessary

• Knowledge of NetSuite software is a prerequisite

• Familiarity with Oracle software is highly desirable

• Competence in using QuickBooks software is expected

• Experience with SAP software is beneficial
