Your future role.

  • Your responsibility is to establish and maintain the supplier base in your assigned commodities (e.g., electrical fans, brakes) for the Division LVM globally.

  • You will development and implement material strategies in close collaboration with our factories and local sourcing teams.

  • Leveraging pooling opportunities is one core tasks alongside material productivity, sustainability, cash flow and delivery models.

  • You are experienced in deploying best-in-class Supply Chain Management as well as risk mitigation in the supply chain.

  • Exploring new market opportunities and technical trends are assets in your personal engagement.

  • You ensure transparency by data and controls as well as report relevant procurement KPI and manage business planning for the assigned commodities.

  • Practical implementation is your core interest when driving sourcing decisions, solving critical supply situations and building resilient supply chains.

Your profile.

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or comparable qualification

  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in strategic procurement or similar function in electromechanical industries

  • Deep Knowledge of negotiation techniques and purchasing contract management

  • Extensive experience in the management of material cost reduction projects, also in an international environment

  • Creative problem-solving skills and strategic way of working

  • Strong communication skills, confident demeanor: question the status quo

  • Cultural understanding/ People driven with empathy

  • Bring different mindsets together, motivate people

  • Success-orientated and creative solution finding paired with a hands-on mentality

  • Analytic mindset with a passion for optimizing global supply chains

  • Enthusiastic team player with a future oriented mindset (think out of the box)

  • Fluent language skills in German and English

For this position, you have a willingness to travel globally up to 20%.
