News Corp Australia Event Communications and Partnerships Manager in NSW, Australia

What’s the role?

We seek an experienced, exceptionally organised Event Communications and Partnerships Manager to join our team. Working across a number of large-scale events, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of consumer-centric marketing strategies to drive event awareness and conversion, and work with the relevant editorial and marketing teams to deliver market leading and Australian-first events and experiences.

You will ensure the successful event programs you work on are delivered through exceptional guest management whilst creating a memorable customer experience for all stakeholders involved. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and managing relations with the event partners. You will work hand-in-glove with our Event Marketing Managers, Senior Event Managers and Editorial leads to support the creation and delivery of best in class event programs.

About the role:

  • Fixed-term opportunity: 06 - month contract with the possibility to extendResponsibility for customer communications & event marketing for key experiential programs for relevant brand portfolios

  • Working closely with the Event Marketing Executive on campaign creative and commercial client integration

  • Be the owner of the master guest lists across the company, building rapport with some of our most valued C-suite, ministerial, celebrity and customer relationships

  • Execute and manage allocated partner and sponsor benefits

  • Develop new event partnership opportunities to establish and manage diverse stakeholder relationships to achieve desired event outcomes

  • In conjunction with Event Marketing Managers, support the development of the event strategies and customer journey (online and offline), and be primarily responsible for the implementation of that experience

  • Develop and implement communications plans with various stakeholders such as relevant editorial and social teams, the Marketing Automation team, internal designers, platform owners and event managers to amplify and capture new audiences

  • Work closely with the Event Marketing Manager and General Manager, Events and Experiences on experiential growth strategy development and progress

  • Work closely with key stakeholders and editorial teams to ensure event campaigns are successfully delivered on brand

  • Provide support and share expertise with team

  • Contribute to a culture that is innovative, customer focused and reflects the News Corp and team values

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills (written and face-to-face), with the ability to liaise confidently.

  • Excellent time and planning skills, with the ability to deliver a variety of partner events to a high standard and work calmly under pressure to meet multiple tight deadlines.
