News Corp Australia Commercial Content Manager in NSW, Australia

What’s the role?

Are you passionate about content creation, digital media, and the latest home cooking trends? We are seeking a proactive and organised Partnerships Content Manager to oversee editorial delivery across our key content partnerships, with a primary focus on our collaboration with one of our biggest clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering monthly content plans, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring the seamless execution of key content initiatives across the year.

About the role:

  • Fixed-term opportunity: 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.Manage the monthly content plan and production schedule for key content partnerships (with a particular focus on our biggest client), including newsletters, curated content, articles and daily social posts.

  • Work with the in-house food and social teams to manage monthly video production schedules, communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure all teams are aware of deadlines and deliverables.

  • Create and curate weekly content based on seasonal ingredients and trends, including articles, listicles, and EDMs.

  • Manage the social roll-out of campaign content, including posts, stories and videos across all key channels (Facebook, Insta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest).

  • Take the lead on tracking the performance of partnership integrations and campaigns, interpreting data to collate monthly and quarterly reports, and attending

  • meetings with internal and external stakeholders when required.KPIs

  • Be the key editorial liaison point for all incoming campaign briefs, including working with food and digital teams to compile best-in-class branded content concepts that align with our partners’ objectives..

  • Manage commercial content workflow across the editorial team to ensure all brief, shoot and implementation deadlines are met

  • Work with the internal ecommerce team to update affiliate content and devise new content plans based on appliance, product and kitchen trends.

Who are you?

  • Previous experience creating compelling digital content for a mass lifestyle brand. A particular understanding of food content and home cooking will be highly regarded.

  • A deep knowledge of content amplification and discovery - including headline writing, social media distribution and EDM creation.

  • Strong written communication skills - from crafting succinct consumer-facing copy to explaining complex information to stakeholders via emails and reports.

  • Experience using content management systems, photo editing software, and CRM/email distribution tools.

  • Working knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics/social media management tools to track performance and report on trends, with an ability to derive insights and communicate these effectively.

  • Understanding of SEO principles and writing content for digital environments.

  • Experience using productivity, collaboration and project management tools, such as Google Workspace/Jira/Trello/Monday etc.

  • Highly organised with the ability to work across multiple projects, provide a holistic view of progress and stay focused on delivering quality content integrations.

  • A collaborative and inquisitive way of working, with a positive, creative approach to solving problems.

  • Experience responding to branded content briefs and creating multi-channel content for a range of clients, particularly in the food/FMCG/retail space.

  • Campaign tracking and optimisation, with experience working to content KPIs and the ability to course-correct and adapt amplification strategies when required.

  • Previous experience workshopping content solutions with commercial teams/clients/agencies, with the confidence to clearly articulate ideas and represent our digital brands in implementation meetings.
