Description We are seeking a Tax Preparer to join our team in Northborough, Massachusetts, United States. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the Financial Services industry. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing individual and small business tax returns, utilizing various accounting software systems, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and small business tax returns with accuracy and efficiency

• Utilize accounting software systems such as CCH ProSystem Fx and Drake Tax Software

• Perform accounting functions including data entry and maintaining allowances

• Provide high-quality customer service, addressing and resolving customer inquiries

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping

• Use CCH Sales Tax and ADP - Financial Services for tax preparation and financial services

• Understand and apply tax deductions appropriately. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax is preferred

• Skilled in using Drake Tax Software is a plus

• Demonstrable ability in Accounting Functions is necessary

• Knowledge of Allowances in tax preparation is beneficial

• Excellent Customer Service skills are essential

• Proficiency in Data Entry is required

• Understanding of Deductibles in tax preparation is necessary
