University Hospitals Health System Sonographer I in North Ridgeville, Ohio
Description This is a part-time position (16-34 hours per week) covering multiple ambulatory sites. No evenings, holidays or call. Some Saturdays may be required. Radiology candidates who accept a part-time or full-time position with University Hospitals are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $10,000 (for full-time) or $5,000 (for part-time). Eligible positions include: CT Tech, MRI, Mammography, Mobile Van Mammography, Multi-Modality, Nuclear Med Tech, Radiographer, Sonographer and Special Procedures Ask your recruiter for details! What you will do Provide quality sonographic images in a timely manner. Assures a safe and clean environment. Maintains knowledge of technical skills. Successfully completes ultrasound scans. Answers the phone and completes documentation appropriately. Collaborates effectively with staff/co-workers. Demonstrates age-specific knowledge. Adheres to hospital safety standards. Perform, follow protocol, and maintain competency for High Level Disinfection procedures. Take responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. Provide age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
