Job Title: Controller/Accounting Manager Location: Warrensville Heights, OH A top manufacturing company located in Warrensville Heights, OH, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Accounting Manager/Controller to oversee their accounting, finance, and customer service support functions. The Accounting Manager will ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements by maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures. Essential Job Functions: * Oversee daily accounting activities including accounts payable, cash disbursements, billing, customer credits, collections, payroll, inventory, fixed assets, and general accounting. * Supervise and lead the accounting and customer service teams, ensuring efficient and timely work allocation. * Perform month-end and year-end tasks such as closing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Develop journal entries and maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules. * Act as an expert in accounting and customer service systems (ERP Macola), providing necessary reports to upper management and sales teams. * Direct financial analysis and reporting, ensuring expenses align with projected revenue, and present findings to management. * Participate in auditing efforts, including financial and inventory audits, through ERP documentation and physical counts. * Provide financial analysis tools for evaluating company ventures, projects, capital expenditures, and product costing. * Maintain detailed records and prepare necessary communications and reports. * Interact professionally with staff, vendors, and the public regularly. * Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as required.
