JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Hotel Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in hotel management and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.

Duties:

  • Assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.

  • Ensure that all guest requests and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

  • Manage and train hotel staff to deliver exceptional customer service.

  • Assist with budgeting and financial management, including monitoring expenses and revenue.

  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient operations and seamless guest experiences.

  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.

  • Assist with night audit duties as needed.

  • Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.

  • Maintain knowledge of local attractions, events, and amenities to provide recommendations to guests.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Multilingual abilities are highly desired.

  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations

  • Proficiency in hotel management software systems

  • Knowledge of human resources practices and procedures

  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.

  • Knowledge of phone systems and phone etiquette

Description of Pay and Benefits

Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
