Bakery Department Associate

As a Market Basket Associate, you will make an invaluable contribution to the company by assisting our customers throughout our stores. From the aisles to the register, you'll shape our customers' shopping experience from the moment they step through the door. Our Associates are truly the face of our stores, and our closest connection to the communities we serve.
Job Duties:
- T ake and deliver bakery orders for clients
- Handle customer questions regarding food components and cake design
- Greet customers in a courteous and welcoming manner
- Display cakes, pies, muffins, rolls, as well as other bakery items nicely in the glass case and on racks
- Ensurethe display is full of products and does not stay empty
- Responsible for assisting bakers with weighing ingredients, kneading dough, spreading the batter, and other fundamental chores
- Ensuring the displayed baked items are fresh and removing those that have gone stale.
This is a part-time position with potential for full-time. Part-time associates do not receive benefits.
