Job Title: Operator

Job Description

This dynamic position involves handling general labor duties, cleanup, and product management, including moving product outside onto the conveyor belt using a front-end loader. You will work with raw materials in the manufacturing of blocks and pavers, essential for patio construction. Expect a dusty environment as you learn to operate machines, start them at the start of shifts, ensure proper runs, and manage product lines, possibly using a forklift. Flexibility is key as daily duties might vary, involving cleanup and equipment operation based on daily needs. You will be introduced to the entire manufacturing process, focusing on operating equipment safely and maintaining production schedules.

Hard Skills

• Manufacturing or Construction (2-3 years experience)

• Front End Loader operation (2-3 years experience)

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in North Chesterfield, Virginia.

Work Environment

The plant environment is loud due to machinery, requiring ear protection (provided). Steel toe shoes are required. The facility is open-air and not climate-controlled, reflecting outside temperatures. The environment can be very dusty, especially during the paver-making process.
