Job Posting: Sterile Processing Technician

Location: Charleston, SC and Palmetto Commerce, North Charleston, SC

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 8 hours Monday - Friday

• 2nd Shift: 8 hours Monday - Friday

• Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday): 12 hours

Starting Pay: $17/hour (with a pay raise to $19/hour between 6 months to 1 year)

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Sterile Processing Technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing surgical tools used by doctors in surgeries. You will also assemble these tools into kits once they are sterilized. This position offers a climate-controlled environment and significant growth opportunities within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments

• Assemble sterilized tools into kits

• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sterilized according to protocols

Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented and eager to learn

• Ability to lift 25+ pounds regularly

• Preferred backgrounds: food and beverage, kitchen, schools, or military

Growth Opportunities:

• Advancement to Tech Levels 1, 2, and 3

• Potential to become a Lead, Supervisor, Manager, and eventually Director
