Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant in the location of North Charleston, South Carolina. This role is in the telecom industry and is focused on overseeing the organization's finance record-keeping to ensure sound financial decisions. The Staff Accountant will produce monthly financial reports, maintain an adequate system of accounting records, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and bookkeeping principles and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the production of monthly financial reports.

• Maintain an adequate system of accounting records.

• Ensure reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Uphold bookkeeping principles and procedures.

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Perform bank reconciliations.

• Maintain the General Ledger and make necessary Journal Entries.

• Handle Month End Close procedures.

• Utilize software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and General Ledger System.

• Ensure the organization is able to make sound financial decisions effectively and efficiently. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Ability to handle General Ledger tasks effectively

• Familiarity with creating and managing Journal Entries

• Proficient in Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of NetSuite software for accounting tasks

• Experience with Oracle financial management software

• Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software

• Experience in using SAP for financial management

• Ability to efficiently use any General Ledger System.
