Job Description General Summary: Canton Elevator is looking for a motivated individual for a full time-position in our project management division. As a member of the project management team, you will manage individual and group projects from product approval through final design. Through the process you will interact with vendors, customers, architects, general contractors, and our engineering team. Responsibilities: Work with customers to obtain approved drawings for specific project designs Work with vendors to obtain final design-based drawings Work with engineering team to obtain final design-based drawings Work with sales team to obtain final price changes Review projects to obtain final design basis and ensure accuracy across multiple elevator systems Generator requisitions for outsourced purchased materials Support the engineering team with vendor and customer correspondence Requirements: Highly organized and the ability to multi-task Capable of effectively undertaking a wide range of responsibilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks Ability to meet project timelines and due dates Ability to review and interpret architectural and manufacturing drawings Ability to review and interpret project specific specifications Understanding of basic drafting concepts, design concepts, and construction concepts Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is a plus Knowledge of elevator systems and/or construction is a plus Qualifications: Associates degree in an engineering related field Current students working towards a degree in an engineering related field Project management experience is a plus Additional Job Details WHAT WE'RE BRINGING TO THE TABLE Competitive salary based on qualifications PTO (Paid time off) 10 Paid Holidays 401(k) and company match Short term and long-term disability Medical, dental, and vision plans with options Flexible Spending Account Life insurance Employee Assistance Plan Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action at Nidec No Soliciting Nidec will not accept unsolicited resumes from individual recruiters or third party recruiting agencies in response to Nidec job postings.
