Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet and Countertop Field Installer for a 1st shift position in Canton, OH. This role offers $25-$30/hr plus Per Diem. As a traveling cabinet and countertop installer, you will work on advanced cabinet building, rework, and repair, both on-site and in the cabinet shop. You will work with veneers and laminates, fit and scribe cabinets and countertops, and provide excellent customer service to clients across the country. This position requires frequent travel and the ability to stay on the road as needed, often at a moment's notice.

Responsibilities

• Install cabinets and countertops at various client locations including retail stores and airports.

• Perform advanced cabinet building, rework, and repair.

• Work in the cabinet shop when not traveling.

• Handle veneers and laminates.

• Fit and scribe cabinets and countertops.

• Provide customer service when meeting with clients.

• Travel nationwide with Per Diem provided.

• Use shop tools such as routers, saws, drills, and more.

Essential Skills

• Experience in cabinetry or millwork.

• Skills in installation and field service.

• Ability to fit and scribe cabinets and countertops.

• Proficiency in working with veneers and laminates.

• Experience using tools such as saws, routers, drills, and other shop tools.

• Intermediate to advanced cabinet building skills.

• Ability to read a tape measure.

• Experience with hand and power tools.

• Basic computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• At least 6 months of experience in carpentry, woodworking, or millwork.

• Previous ERP experience is a plus but not required.

• Solid Surface / Field Teams: Programs experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift from 5:30am-4pm Monday to Friday and 5:30am-11:30am on Saturdays, though Saturday work is rare. Typical hours are 6:30am-3pm Monday to Friday. The facility is fun, team-oriented with a small company feel, very clean, and organized. The company has around 60 employees and has made significant investments in equipment to increase production and quality. The work environment is climate-controlled and well-lit.
