REQUIREMENTS: * Licensed Physician; State Board Certified or Eligible; Fully Credentialed, and Insurability. * Current American Health Association (AHA) Provider Basic Life Support Card (BLS) within 2 months of hire and recertify prior to the expiration date. * Non-violent Crisis Intervention Comprehensive training class completed within 6 months of hire and recertify prior to the expiration date. * Graduate of an accredited school of medicine with a Degree in Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), a minimum of one year\'s experience is desirable. * Completion of Accredited Residency. * Unrestricted License and Board Certified to practice medicine in the State of Oregon. * Current DEA Certificate without restrictions. * Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; additional languages preferred. * Ability to be credentialed with Medicaid, Medicare, private and other insurance. JOB DUTIES: * Obtains and records client\'s health history; performs comprehensive physical assessment as part of a total physical examination. * Demonstrate substantial knowledge of interviewing and counseling techniques. * Diagnoses, treats, and plans appropriate health care for clients in the area of school-based health care, family planning, and primary care as appropriate; refers clients to specialty physicians and/or outside agencies as required. * Demonstrate skillful knowledge of medicine techniques and procedures, medical and lab equipment, testing procedures, and medication. * Educate and inform the patient of the necessary treatment plan and any follow-up appointments. * Encourage preventative health measures including proper diet, rest, and exercise. * Counsel patients about their health, provide advice about staying in good health, alleviating symptoms of chronic conditions, improving eating habits, and learning to break bad habits like smoking. * Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose the medical condition of the patient. * Provides and prescribes medications within the area of specialty. * Performs laboratory procedures; interprets lab test results. * Establishes and maintains client medical charts and other necessary records. * Advance and maintain a personal knowledge base by pursuing continuing education in order to enhance professional competence. * Demonstrate skill in diagnostic procedures for diseases and the drug therapy needed for the treatment of these medical conditions. Must be proficient in the use of medical and laboratory equipment. * Participate in the Clinical Quality Improvement and Quality Management meetings and other meetings as requested by supervisor and/or Senior Leadership Team. * Performs any other duties needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization\'s Values.
