Job Description

Does it motivate you to ensure sustainability and help Danfoss to achieve our ambitious 2030 climate strategy goals for our Real Estate properties? Can you collect and share expertise knowledge about HVAC-systems and indoor climate in a production or administration building? If so, then you might be our new Senior HVAC Consultant.

You will help your colleagues to think out of the box and make sure that the right questions are being asked. Also,you will ensure that HVAC and heat recovery systems can meet the demands drawn up by the producing entities to ensure a reliable production environmentin the actual project. Your goal will be to reduce energy consumption and operating expenses for supplying the productions areas and administration buildings while taking care of the working environment for your colleagues. This requires in-depth knowledge and design experience with sophisticated HVAC solutions within ventilation in production and office buildings and with air-conditioning and humidity control in productions facilities.

Job Responsibilities

As our new Senior HVAC Consultant, you will function as an expert project member on large Danfoss factory projects worldwide, ensuring top class fulfillment of user requirements while delivering the best value for Danfoss. You will do this by collecting input from colleagues at existing sites and translating them into guidelines for future design of new buildings and upgrades of existing ones. With your comprehensive experience in HVAC and energy efficiency solutions, you will provide best practices and advice on the latest technologies used in technical installations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in the initial design phases of buildings/factories.

• Conduct energy surveys of the factories which will result in energy efficiency and decarbonization projects.

• Providing input on HVAC, heat recovery and energy efficient systems during the budgeting phase (CAPEX needs and phasing, savings, energy reduction,…).

• Creating intent documents for new factory construction.

• Developing initial specifications to support comprehensive building and energy efficiency projects.

• Conceptual design of heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.

• Monitoring quality and reliability of energy efficiency and decarbonization business cases coming from regional organizations.

Background & Skills

To be considered for this position you need to have an educational background as B.Sc./M.Sc. within HVAC together with some years of experience in the design of HVAC systems. Furthermore, you have previously acted as consultant within Energy Solutions in a large, global founded organization or from a consulting engineering firm.

On a personal note, you are an approachable and welcoming team player. While you naturally show authority, you also foster an environment of open and direct communication. You are positive, and people can tell that you enjoy your work and the close cooperation with stakeholders on all levels. Finally, you are fluent in written and spoken English, Danish is a big plus.
