SquadStack Associate Director, Infosec in Noida/Goa, India
About the opportunity
As an Associate Director - Security at Squad, you will play a crucial role in ensuring & enhancing the security, integrity, and confidentiality of our infrastructure, data & systems. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to design and implement secure architectures, frameworks, and processes for our solutions. Your expertise in security best practices and understanding of cloud, cybersecurity, security frameworks & AI technologies will be essential in protecting our systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
You'll work closely with technology, business & product leadership. You'll collaborate & facilitate our security strategy & roadmap. You'll travel to & talk to customers alongside our sales teams. You'll understand customers' security needs & negotiate their requests in line with SquadStack's security strategy.

Core Responsibilities
Work with technology & business functions towards defining the security strategy. Define security roadmap.
Lead the security roadmap implementation. Manage & run security programs & projects with various teams (infrastructure, SOC, IT Admin, Legal)
Manage security benchmarks & framework compliance (ISO 27001, SoC2 Type2, CIS benchmarks). Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and data protection standards (TRAI guidelines, DPDP Act)
Continuously assess & manage risks. Build a strong risk management program. Conduct risk assessments and threat modelling to identify potential security vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies
Work with marketing & sales towards establishing customer-facing communication about our security best practices. E.g. Trust page (https://trust.squadstack.com/)
Travel to & talk to customers alongside our sales teams. You'll understand customers' security needs & negotiate their requests in line with SquadStack's security strategy.
Responding to external audits/questionnaire responses after collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Design and implement secure architectures ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and services
Work closely with the development team to integrate security controls into the design and development of solutions
Review application architectures for security vulnerabilities and threat modelling
Monitor the effectiveness of security controls, conduct regular security assessments, and recommend improvements to enhance the overall security posture.
Conduct security awareness programs and training sessions for the AI tech team to promote a security-conscious culture
Provide guidance and support to developers, data scientists, and other team members on security best practices and secure coding techniques
About you
7-10 years of Industry experience in information security and/or cybersecurity
Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field
Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies - AWS cloud, Firewalls, SIEM, VPN, Zero Trust architecture, SOC, Incident response, ISMS etc.
Proven experience as a Security Architect or a similar role
Advanced knowledge of application security assessments.
Experience in vulnerability management, threat assessments, or a multi-discipline security engineer role
Experience working with security frameworks/benchmarks ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI DSS, CIS, FTR etc.
Industry security Certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, AWS, and Microsoft Azure would be a plus

Compensation: 40-55 LPA + ESOPs
