Study Group Quality Assurance Engineer in Noida, India

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will serve as a catalyst for change, partnering with Developers, Architects, and other stakeholders to positively influence the company’s quality assurance culture. You will set benchmarks for innovation, leadership, and autonomy. This role collaborates closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to shape the strategy and design of the Quality Assurance process, practices, and tools. They provide essential input and support to the Quality Assurance Manager in leading the quality assurance discipline across the development team to consistently deliver high-quality products.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and efficiency.

  • Create, promote, and evangelise Quality Assurance processes and practice across the Study Group.

  • Improving the quality of User Stories by well-understood, unambiguous, and testable from the start.

  • Lead engineering in troubleshooting Quality Assurance and software issues in all environments.

  • Champion the concept of continuous improvement of Quality Assurance processes.

  • Champion the standardisation, automation, and simplification of Quality Assurance practices

  • Developing test automation frameworks covering API functionality testing and UI end to end tests.

  • Influence and guide development teams across the department to follow testing best practice.

  • Promoting a positive work ethic, demonstrating a willingness to work beyond your own sphere of expertise to deliver projects on time when and where necessary.

  • Assisting with the creation and review of technical specifications, design and analysis documentation of modules that comprise a Study Group application or product.

  • Create new and maintain as appropriate existing automation frameworks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing the changes required.

  • Supporting the Test Manager with analysis, providing detailed technical information where required.

    ABOUT YOU

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

  • Foundation level ISTQB qualified, QA Certifications and/or Equivalent.

  • Experience in Agile, CI/CD. Previous role as a QA Engineer.

  • Expert in all areas of QA leading development, executing manual testing ensuring world class quality products.

  • Expert knowledge of QA tools and processes.

  • Highly experienced in QA process ownership, definition and ensuring adoption by delivery teams.

  • Proven experience in implementing Defect prevention techniques.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of latest QA technologies and trends

  • Proficient in software Quality Assurance.
