Imbibe HR & Training Coordinator in NILES, Illinois

Summary of Position

This individual will help drive a culture of organizational learning and development focused on leadership development, performance management and technical excellence.  Responsible for supporting training throughout the organization, including identifying training needs, collaborating with cross-functional subject matter experts to design and develop training materials, implementing programs and maintaining accurate records.

Essential Job Duties

  • Assists in developing training materials, including presentations, handouts and e-learning modules, collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders.

  • Oversees learning & development program implementation, tracking results, and making recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Creates, maintains, and ensures accurate and up-to-date training records. Handles logistics related to training, including maintenance, user support and updates via HRIS and LMS.

  • Manages internal training site, Imbibe University, ensuring organization and updates.

  • Organizes training sessions, workshops, and seminars. Manages schedules, conference rooms, and resources.

  • Supports onboarding process and facilitates new hire training with employees.

  • Coordinates internship programs within the organization.

  • Assists with HR projects including employee recognition, performance management, benefits, employee engagement.

  • Assists with recruiting coordination including scheduling meetings and interviews, reviewing resumes and following up with candidates.

  • Coordinates internship programs within the organization.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education or related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR administration, Learning & Development and/or Instructional Design 

  • Strong attention to detail in context of HR systems and processes

  • Exceptional judgement and prior professional experience in maintaining strict confidentiality.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain in a stationary sitting position 75% of the time

  • Ability to communicate information and exchange ideas with high attention to detail and accuracy.  

  • Ability to observe details at close range.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Canva, InDesign, Illustrator or other related programs

  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Experience developing training materials, including e-learning
